In welcoming you into the church, we are confirming that you share the vision of Greater Community Temple to reach out to the world while ministering to the needs of the Body of Christ here.
 
 In order to strengthen your commitment to this ministry, it is mandatory that you attend all sessions of the New Members Orientation classes before you become actively involved in any auxiliary. I believe that these classes will enable you to be a more affective member of this local church, The Church Of God In Christ and the universal church. As you know, there are many people who join church and only stay for a few weeks. I do not want this to happen to you. Therefore, our classes will take five weeks to complete and are designed so that you can learn and gain a basic understanding of the structure, doctrine, organization and the government of our church. Upon completion of all classes, you become eligible for graduation and auxiliary participation. Please commit yourself to this process and avail yourself to the many wonderful opportunities of worship here.
